I have downloaded Cheat Engine and it came with a few...unwanted software's (ad ware). Firstly YouTube Accelerator which i managed to delete, then was Shopping pro and now I keep getting pop ups from my antivirus about an app called scan.exe which is located in my temp folder. I scanned my PC and found the threat,deleted it but after a few minutes it popped right up.Anyone know what to do?

Cheat Engine?, at the time of downloading when you clicked on the download link it might be redirected to any other page or website which does have many download buttons or images may be clicked on that and that leads to downloading the unnecessary software's where they confuse you before providing the download link.

Many websites are redirected like these to other third party cloud storage websites they show ads that will confuse you and leads you to click on the ads, so Beware.

If you want to know how to remove these things, just goto control panel, goto add/remove programs in the list you will find unnecessary software's which you need to uninstall.

Precautions need to be taken before opening these kind of sites, better install a good antivirus program and it will take care rest of it

When ever I try to delete McAfee and all those other annoying PC cleaning popups on my laptop they just end up coming back on there somehow. Is a way to permanently get rid of them !?! Please answer. Any info will help thanks.

Deleting Mcafee means you are going to installed location and deleting the folders may be that's not the right way. You need to go to control panel and uninstall the McAfee antivirus and this is the procedure you need to follow.

Popups are getting automatically on you laptop it means there might be some ad ware sort of software's are installed in your laptop once check them and uninstall them. Most of malware sites or ad ware sites automatically install a plugin into your browser and if you enable privacy options you will get the alert.

If you are using McAfee full versions and update and scan the whole computer, if not install the avast free antivirus that's work better ever. They provide one year license aswell.

If you want to get rid of all those things you need to enable privacy options in the operating system. Windows 7 has the good privacy options where windows xp has very less.

Hi. I'm having a lot of probs with my computer and internet. When it's slow, my computer is making that rumbling noise like it's downloading something. I did virus scans with spybot, ccleaner, I downloaded malware virus scanner and it deletes the stuff but it always comes back or it can't delete it. I don't have any torrents, I don't play games online, youtube is always crashing. Something about shockwave and I don't have plugins and I do have the latest flash in my computer. It seems like the internet doesn't know I have it. I want to go to a website and it'll take me to another page with ads with what i'm looking for. I have to click the back button and then it will work. I deleted this thing for weather and this pop up comes up every time I turn on my computer.   Sol :- There might be a some scripts running in the background, you need to clear that scripts. download the trojan remover. Download an Antivrus like Avast free edition and Norton Trial Version and Install the antivirus and update it and remove the internet connection, scan the whole computer.

 Thus, the virus will be removed. You need to remove the unnecessary programs aswell.

Go to Control panel->add/remove programmes and untinstall unncessary things which they wont be useful to you.
